Caroline Evans is an experienced piano teacher who has taught privately in Lewes for over 20 years. She is a music graduate of the University of Sussex and received classical training in performance at the Guildhall School of Music.

Caroline teaches all standards up to Grade 8 and specializes in the more advanced grades.

Since 1987, Caroline has taught some 100 pianists from across Sussex. During this time, her students have passed over 97% of the examinations for which they have been entered.

Drawing on her experience, Caroline has now produced two series of books for the music publisher Peters Edition. The second of these, The Aural Test Survival Books, was awarded ‘Distinction in Music Publishing’ in 2007 by the Music Industries Association.

Caroline is a Member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and is listed in the ‘Private Teachers’ section. She is also a Member of the Royal Society of Musicians.
